چکیده مقاله:

Increasing production and breeding of aquatic animals especially rainbow trout has increased their feed production. Aflatoxins are toxic compounds which are produced as secondary metabolites by fungi such as: A.Flavus and A.Parasiticus. These compounds are known as carsinogenic,mutagenic,immunosuppressive and teratogenic agents.This study aimed to investigate the toxicogenic fungi and aflatoxins in rainbow trout feeds in Semnan Province. 23 samples of rainbow trout feed from fish farms in different part of Semnan province were collected during winter2017 and spring 2018. The samples were cultured in pour plate method and nine samples had fungal growth that six of them were identified as toxicogenic ones. These samples were examined using high performance liquid chromatograhy (HPLC) for detection of aflatoxins and no types of aflatoxin was detected in any samples. Most of cultured fungi were toxicogenic (66/66%), while no aflatoxin was detected. The isolated toxicogenic fungi included: A.Niger, A.Flavus, A.Fumigatus and Fusarium s.p .Results confirmed the health of rainbow trout feed in Semnan province due to the absence of aflatoxins.
